AI is as good as your context.
Own it.
EKHO turns what you know into a connected memory your AI can work with. It gets better with every use, and you stay in control.
01 Why
What becomes scarce when intelligence is abundant?
Context connects what you know at the moment you ask: your decisions and why, the people you work with, what you have read and concluded.
Everyone has the same models, but only you have your context.
Knowledge is scattered across your head, chats, emails and notes, and so far nobody has kept it together.
This is one project over three weeks, in the order it arrived, and none of it is connected.

Who actually signs off a rollout?
Across the cases we went through, sign-off sat with procurement far more often than with the team.

Why do note systems get abandoned?
The ones that survive have a filing step so dull it needs no decision.

02 What
A wallet for your most valuable asset.
EKHO helps you build your context and keeps it in a folder on your own disk, for you and any agent you allow.
Nothing is locked inside somebody else's model.

03 How
EKHO works where you work.
EKHO docks into the chat you already use, with commands you call and skills it applies itself.
It never changes anything without showing you first.

Become model-independent
The models now build a memory of you across chats. It is useful, but it is theirs, and the longer it grows, the more it costs to leave. EKHO keeps that context on your own disk, in Markdown that any model can read.
It stays yours, and switching models costs you nothing.
03 How
0 notes 0 links
Your knowledge is compounding.
Every source you add links to what is already there. An insight knows where it came from, what supports it and what contradicts it.
Each new note adds connections, so what comes back gets better over time. Note systems usually die of the bookkeeping, but EKHO does it for you.
See where your knowledge stands.
The EKHO Viewer shows you the state of your vault and what the new connections add up to. You can also turn it into pages for other people.
It will bring new connections and conclusions to you on its own.
The viewer is in development. The screen shows its "Today" view with invented data from a consultancy.
04 Architecture
The EKHO architecture
Any AI can keep notes. EKHO adds the grammar and the workflows that make them repeatable, and compatible with every other EKHO vault.
Conversation between people
Where knowledge starts: conversations with the people you work with: calls, meetings, decisions made out loud. Almost none of it gets written down, and that is what EKHO is after.
LLM interchangeable
What does the work: the engine that reads, writes and links. EKHO works with any model, frontier, open or locally hosted, so you can swap the model and your knowledge stays exactly where it was.
Harness ekho-cockpit CLI and skills
The layer that puts the grammar to work: skills, workflows and a linter that take in sources, answer questions and keep everything consistent. It turns something one person prompted once into behaviour anyone can repeat.
Ontology ekho-core types, edges, rules
The shared grammar of a vault: what a note is (insight, hypothesis, decision), how notes relate, and which rules they follow. It is declared rather than prompted, so every vault behaves the same and each field can extend it without breaking the core.
EKHO Vault an open format
What you own: plain Markdown on your own disk. It becomes more valuable with every session, and nothing in the layers above it is allowed to hold it hostage.
Why we build this
If AI is an industrial revolution of the mind, then the people doing the thinking should be the ones it pays off for. Today the memory is being built on the other side.
We are two builders in Berlin and think Europe owes itself a version of this that answers to people. The vault behind this site holds 710 notes, and every decision on this page is one of them.
